History
In July of 1984, Americall (AGI) was formed to provide quality, outbound telemarketing services to businesses, which were seeking to sell their products and services, or generate leads, from or to their targeted customer base(s). Americall has its corporate headquarters in the State of Illinois and has operating centers in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Florida as well as “near shore” operations in both Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
Teleperformance, the world’s second largest CRM and teleservices outsourcing group, bought a majority interest in the corporation in 1998, giving Americall additional financial and marketing strength. With 1,000 + customers worldwide, Teleperformance is present in 42 countries with over 56,000 workstations and 263 contact centers, giving it the largest geographical coverage for outsourcing in the world. More than one billion contacts in 60 languages and dialects are treated each year from the 30,000 partners and employees, who work daily in its multimedia contact centers.
