The ASD Softswitch™ is the foundation of AGI's telephony platform. The ASD Softswitch™ is developed by SCS, Inc., an innovator in contact center technology for inbound, outbound, and fully blended customer contact centers.


 

The ASD Softswitch™ is a server-based, open-architecture, blended platform built around a SQL server data warehouse and Dialogic voice processing hardware. The software-based ACD, IVR, E-mail and predictive dialer application is capable of handling inbound, outbound, and IVR calls. In addition to its open architecture appeal, the ASD Softswitch™ is enhanced by its client/server infrastructure, use of the Microsoft operating system and SQL server database, and ability to utilize inexpensive PC’s as well as thin clients on the CCR's desktops. Some of the ASD Softswitch™ features include:

  • Outbound dialing
  • Inbound routing and call handling

The ASD Softswitch™ suite was awarded the "CRM Excellence Award" from Customer Inter@ctions Solutions magazine.  CT Labs, an independent testing and analysis service in the telephony industry, tested ASD Softswitch™ and proclaimed the system's performance "rock solid". The product suite was also awarded "Best of Show" at TMC's Communications Solution Expo 2002.
