Expansion above this capacity is available in either system through minor hardware and circuit additions. Extensive growth beyond the capacity of these systems is achieved through load balancing the IVR requirements across additional sites, easily accomplished since every AGI site is equipped with identical systems capable of incorporating the IVR application. IVR service is provided 24x7 and maintenance windows are scheduled during low-volume times (typically 1-5 a.m.), and all inbound traffic during these windows is diverted to an alternate IVR site. This redundancy of IVR facilities also provides a safeguard against outages or other service disruptions by defaulting IVR traffic to the alternate site. AGI’s approach to IVR maintenance allows for a zero down-time effect. |
