Celebrating Five Years of Volunteering: TP’s 5th International Volunteers Congress
This Giving Tuesday, we’d like to take a moment to celebrate the 5th International Volunteers Congress marking five incredible years of our impactful volunteering program, driven by the Citizen of the World (COTW) and Citizen of the Planet (COTP) initiatives. The program has united over 15,000 volunteers from the TPMAR region, demonstrating the power of collective action to create meaningful social and environmental change. The Congress reflected on our past successes and served as a starting point for an even more significant future impact centered around our shared mission: Together, we build the world we dream of.
Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives are vital pillars of TP’s efforts to empower employees to make a difference in the TPMAR region. From supporting education and inclusion to driving sustainability through tree planting and waste management, these initiatives have inspired volunteers to take action on issues that matter most.
Achievements Over Five Transformative Years
Over the past five years, these initiatives have made a significant environmental impact in the region. By planting more than 6,000 trees, we’ve contributed to a healthier planet. Our volunteers also recycled 55 tons of waste and removed 10 tons of trash from critical ecosystems, protecting valuable natural resources. Additionally, 5,000 environmental volunteers have been trained, equipping them with the skills needed to respond to environmental emergencies and safeguard the communities we serve.
Other CSR initiatives have focused on creating positive social change, directly impacting over 30,000 children by distributing education tools, wellness spaces, and health days. As part of the Reuse to Transform project, we’ve delivered 1,700 school desks to enhance students’ learning environments. Additionally, we’ve provided 600 electronic devices to vulnerable groups, including women, seniors, and people with disabilities, to ensure greater access to education and technology. Our volunteers also distributed 5,000 school kits and 3,000 “Dare to Be What You Want to Be” books to promote gender equity and inspire the next generation.
The 5th International Volunteers Congress
The 5th International Volunteers Congress was a powerful celebration of these achievements and a reaffirmation of our commitment to continued positive impact. Throughout the event, volunteers reflected on the lives they’ve touched, sharing inspiring stories that continue to fuel our collective passion. This year’s theme highlighted the importance of continuing these initiatives, scaling up our efforts, and spreading the message of creating a better world.
This Giving Tuesday, we celebrate the incredible dedication of over 15,000 volunteers in the TPMAR region. Their collective efforts have created lasting, positive change. With the momentum from this Congress, we are more determined than ever to expand the reach and deepen the impact of our CSR initiatives.
