Celebrating Youth Skills Day: Our Commitment to Education

TP - 07.15.2024

Every year on July 15th, the world celebrates Youth Skills Day, emphasizing the critical role of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work, and entrepreneurship. This year, we highlight TP's impactful initiatives that empower youth and promote education globally, fostering a fair, inclusive, and sustainable future for all.

Argentina: Futuros Egresados Program

In Argentina, TP has launched the "Futuros Egresados" program in partnership with Fundación León, a local NGO. This initiative supports teenagers from socio-economic backgrounds, where many families live in extreme poverty. Currently sponsoring sixteen students with plans to expand, this program ensures these teenagers complete their high school education. Over the past three years, we have been dedicated to helping these students achieve their educational goals, hoping they may join our global team one day.

Peru: Empowering Girls in STEM

In Peru, TP addresses gender inequality through a project that encourages girls to pursue traditionally male-dominated careers. By providing experiences in fields like STEM, aviation, and journalism, the initiative empowers girls to dream without limits. The project has distributed over 3,000 educational booklets, promoting confidence and self-esteem among participants. This initiative is vital in fostering greater awareness of diversity and inclusion in all professional fields.

Greece: AI Pioneers in Civil Society

TP’s "AI Pioneers in Civil Society" project in Greece aimed to educate civil society organizations about artificial intelligence and modernize NGOs. From October 2023 to January 2024, the project equipped 10 NGOs with skills on the concept, tools, and opportunities to utilize artificial intelligence for operational improvements and innovative solutions.
