As the world marked World Refugee Day last June 20, TP stands strong in its continuous support and solidarity with refugees around the globe. By supporting UNICEF, we are committed to empowering and creating a safer world for children who have been forced to flee their homes.

Crisis in Sudan: UNICEF’s Humanitarian Response

Sudan continues to face the world’s largest child displacement crisis, with 4.6 million children displaced internally or across borders since the start of the civil conflict in April 2023. More than one year later, the health and well-being of Sudan’s 24 million people remain threatened, with 13.6 million children requiring humanitarian aid. To help the most vulnerable, TP donated €300,000 as part of its partnership with UNICEF. This contribution aimed to provide, for example, critical health services, including immunization and nutrition to children.

Inspiring Hope, Envisioning a Better and Fairer World

Despite the challenging situation, UNICEF and partners reached over 10.5 million children and their families with safe drinking water, 8.2 million people with health supplies, and over 7 million children with malnutrition screening. These milestones are a testament of UNICEF’s invaluable efforts, with support from its partners’, including TP.
