Presenting the Winners of Teleperformance Botathon!

As an employer of choice, Teleperformance constantly seeks new ways to motivate our employees through activities that help them harness their skills and develop their talents. We have long believed that empowering our employees by providing an environment where they can shine and express their individualities goes a long way in adding to the happiness of our people, allowing them to thrive and become better individuals both in and out of the workplace. Our recent initiative, Teleperformance Botathon, was prime example of how we continue to drive a culture of collaboration with the heart of our organization: our employees!

Knowing our people are the best visionaries and are the best in what they do, we launched the Teleperformance Botathon tournament earlier this year, inviting our employees to utilize technologies in today’s emerging digital environment. Teleperformance Botathon truly bolstered our passion for innovation and our aim to promote the automation culture within the organization. An event made possible by partners UiPath and Automation Anywhere, we envisioned participants gaining knowledge from various business areas surrounding key automation concepts; experiencing and feel automation’s capabilities; discovering potential automation opportunities; reshaping the future of work; learning; and having fun. The tournament challenged employees to submit their best “automation framework” ideas to improve business workplace and culture, and help advance the digital workforce.

This year’s inaugural Teleperformance Botathon saw teams from 15 countries with nearly 1,400 participants. In a three-stage process, the Teleperformance Botathon began with teams forming across difference regions throughout the world, including APAC, CEMEA, ILATAM, UK and SA, India, CTSS, and the Middle East. Teams submitted ideas for approval and selection from a panel of senior executive judges.

 
We are extremely pleased to announce this year’s winners from 11 top finalists:

• First Place: Nestor Gaspar (IberoLatam), for “Verification and Updates RPA”
• Second Place: Alba Lungari and Fatos Brahimi (CEMEA), for “Work Scheduling Enhancements”
• Third Place: Veronica Marconetti (CEMEA) for “Password Processing Efficiencies”

Sidharth Mukherjee, Global Head of Transformation and Knowledge Services at Teleperformance, elaborated on the value of automation in today’s digital landscape. “The future of automation is happening now. Digital transformation is the need of the hour for all our clients, whether they are the disruptors, or the ones getting disrupted. Embracing key technologies, like RPA, OCR, NLP and machine learning can only help drive up human productivity, boost employee morale, and elevate customer service,” said Mukherjee. “This was never truer than in 2020. The Teleperformance Botathon was inspired from the need to democratize digital and equip every employee with the skills needed for the future of work.”

One of the finalists, Alba Lungari, praised the overall experience: “The Teleperformance Botathon was a new and amazing experience. The best thing was seeing the commitment and support of so many people. This award is for all of us!” Lungari shared.
