Teleperformance in Portugal Donates Tablets to Aldeias de Crianças SOS

We continue to ignite our passion for sharing, giving, and making the world a better place! Creating a positive impact through care and compassion has long been important for our Teleperformance employees all over the world, and this time, we are setting our sights on Teleperformance in Portugal, who recently donated tablets to Aldeias de Crianças SOS.

Because of the global pandemic affecting millions of lives worldwide, comprehensive access to education anytime, anywhere is an asset for the new generation of students. Due to social distancing and lockdown restrictions, Teleperformance in Portugal recognized the need for children to continue their education through distance learning. With this, our teams over in Portugal donated tablets to Aldeias de Crianças SOS, a center that is devoted to providing quality alternative care to children unable to live with their biological families.

The partnership between Teleperformance in Portugal and Aldeias de Crianças SOS started in 2017 with an activity at the Lisbon Oceanarium, as well as gift-giving during the Christmas season. This time, the children of Aldeias de Crianças SOS received tools for them to access better education. For the center, it wants the children to be challenged to think, to communicate with the world, and to create: the future is here, with the children paving the way. Through Teleperformance’s corporate social responsibility initiative, Citizen of the World (COTW), the children are able to continue their education and fuel their drive for learning.
