As an HR & Labor Relations Leader, you will be responsible for supervising the HR team and the management of disciplinary processes, ensuring compliance with the company's internal work standards and policies, and providing legal and labor support and advice to the internal client under the direction of the legal team, while offering answers and solutions to ensure compliance with local labor laws.
What you’ll be doing:
- Investigate and manage disciplinary processes, guaranteeing that legal requirements are met throughout the process.
- Organize and provide training on relevant labor issues to ensure knowledge and compliance with labor standards by all employees.
- Prepare responses to petition rights and/or requirements from active or retired employees, ensuring compliance with current labor legislation.
- Ensure compliance with local and internal work regulations and safety policies.
- Direct the functions to the personnel in charge, to speed up labor matters (labor law and disciplinary).
- Supervise, review, and provide feedback on the tasks assigned to each team member, to comply with the proposed and/or legal terms of execution.
- Guarantee that the work team strictly complies with disciplinary procedures by the internal work regulations, corporate guidelines, and current labor regulations.
- Address the requirements of the different areas of the company regarding labor and disciplinary law, ensuring compliance with due process and the company's internal guidelines.
The TOP Team is looking for someone who:
- Is a lawyer focused on labor law or employee relations (Bachelor’s degree).
- Has 2 years of experience in similar positions such as employee relations support and HR positions.
- Has knowledge of local law in T&T.
