Vander Caballero Vander has more than 20 years of experience. He is an established leader of Canadian video game innovation. He is no newcomer to virtual reality (VR); Vander was working with this technology before he entered the games industry. He is founder & CEO of Meta4 Interactive. In 2010, he foresaw the emergence of digital distributors (Playstation Network, XBLA, Steam) as a shift in game publishing power dynamics. Following his sharp business instinct, he left EA after nine years and founded Minority Media, building a new team of veteran game creators. He confirmed his vision two years later when Papo & Yo – Minority’s debut – captured a loyal following through exclusive digital distribution at a fraction of the marketing budget spent by larger studios. He has also developed virtual environments for world-class architects. |
