A documentary about hope, unity, and togetherness
Fifteen years ago, TP joined forces with Gawad Kalinga, a movement dedicated to nation-building and alleviating poverty in the Philippines. This partnership began in 2009, following the devastation caused by Typhoon Ketsana, known in the Philippines as Typhoon Ondoy. TP supported families in need by establishing the “TP Gawad Kalinga Village” in Tanay, Rizal, with our volunteers dedicating their time and effort to constructing new homes and helping to restore hope and dignity to displaced residents.
Today, we celebrate fifteen incredible years of this journey with our documentary, “Building Hope.” We invite you to learn inspiring stories of resilience and transformation, highlighting our collective vision for a community founded on hope, unity, and togetherness.

Empowering communities and building a brighter future
Building Hope is a testament to TP’s commitment to a better and fairer world for all. Join us as we celebrate this milestone and reawaken the spirit of helping others!
A brief history
TP Gawad Kalinga Village
Typhoon Ketsana struck the Philippines in September 2009 and caused devastating flooding, particularly in Metro Manila and nearby provinces. Many areas received over 400 millimeters of rain in just 24 hours, resulting in rivers overflowing and extensive flooding in urban areas.
The municipal government of Tanay, Rizal allowed Gawad Kalinga to use one hectare of its land in the identified resettlement area in Sitio Gabihan. TP organized regular volunteer events for employees to participate in the house construction.
