Cloud Compute Operations

Key Responsibilities:

Subject Matter Expert:

  • Evaluate, respond to, and resolve service issues; design tools and automation to prevent problem recurrence on Cloud infrastructure
  • Assist all support teams and services with cloud questions, systems design, problem resolution
  • Manage security-related aspects of the Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure, including compliance with ISO27001, HIPAA and other standards relevant to industry.

Design and Planification:

  • Work with developers, Service delivery and PMO team to create and maintain the cloud (Azure & AWS) infrastructure.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for cloud solutions
  • Drive technical innovation and efficiency in infrastructure operations via automation and
    orchestration
  • Conduct capacity planning analysis and cloud budget planning, cost control

Administration and Maintenance:

  • Create and maintain automated monitoring and reporting of cloud infrastructure health,
    performance and cost control
  • Manage the monitoring, updating, optimization, redundancy, stability of cloud systems
  • Participate in any project deemed necessary by the organization / Global team

Human Resource Management:

  • Responsible for performance management, service and client experience coaching, training and development of team members
  • Ensures the team is up-to-date on product functionality, tools, industry trends and best practices related to radiology workflow and integration
  • Promote the company culture

Performance Management:

  • Evaluate the performance of the department processes, report Key Performance Indicators, get customer/business feedback, keep abreast of the best practices, recommend adjustments and implement changes

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of 12 to 15 years of IT experience within an medium to large sized business (Server support, operations, virtualization, Cloud infrastructure, cloud networking, cloud shell scripting, cloud operations, and monitoring)
  • In-depth understanding of Cloud operations best practices
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Cloud Administration
  • Azure / AWS Certification, such as Cloud Administrator/ Cloud Architect is a major asset
  • Broad experience with and knowledge of Enterprise Linux / CentOS
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of networking, in particular building cloud networks and
    integrating them with on-premise networks in a secure and reliable manner
  • Knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, orchestration tools, and container management is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • SQL and database experience
  • Experience with monitoring tools, cloud security monitoring tools, cloud cost control tool
  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field or comparable experience.

The candidate should have proficiency in ITIL and other IT operational frameworks. He/she should be able to provide all the necessary support for Azure and AWS Cloud infrastructure as well as suggest changes for upgrades and improvements and be responsible for auditing their region for security and version compliance against global standards.
