Helping Save Children's Lives in Sudan

Teleperformance - 06.19.2023

As clashes between the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) and Paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continue, more than 736,220 people are displaced, and some 177,116 people have crossed the border to neighboring countries. Deaths and injuries were also reported, including those of thousands of children.

UNICEF is on the ground providing humanitarian aid, nutrition, and health services for the children in Sudan. They called on their partners, including Teleperformance, for support to increase their capacity to deliver critical supplies and support services in the following areas:

Health

  • Emergency health kits
  • Essential and nutrition supplies
  • Medicines and vaccines

Water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH)

  • Communal semi-permanent sanitation infrastructures
  • Safe drinking water

Child protection

  • Monitoring and reporting mechanism (MRM) on grave child rights violations
  • Child protection basic services
  • Psychosocial support

Education

  • Safe and secure learning spaces

As part of our multi-year partnership, Teleperformance promptly responded with a $300,000 donation from our global emergency fund, firmly believing in a responsible global citizenry and being a Force of Good to our communities.

Our emergency response is part of our commitment to support UNICEF’s long-term projects, such as providing education programs for children in India and the Philippines and global emergency relief.

We stand with UNICEF and the people of Sudan in hoping for the ongoing conflict's quick end.
