Teleperformance’s partnership with One Tree Planted, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation, continues to solidify with each passing day. Fueled by our drive towards a healthier and greener planet, we continue to contribute to global reforestation efforts – we are planting a total of 500,000 trees across five world regions, namely in USA, India, Philippines, South America, and Portugal, aiming to plant 100,000 trees per region.

Every dollar donated plants a tree with One Tree Planted – as of this writing, our donations page continues to receive donations.  We are thrilled to see everyone’s generosity in going above and beyond in taking better care of the planet.

Onwards to a Greener, Healthier Planet

We are supporting One Tree Planted’s reforestation efforts worldwide, including its campaign to plant trees in marginalized states across India, including Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Odisha, and West Bengal. Not only would these fruit trees serve as an adequate food source, they will also help the farmers create sustainable livelihoods for their families. The trees also aid in fighting pollution, conserving water, and preventing soil erosion.

Our contribution to One Tree Planted’s reforestation campaign in India will also help farmers generate additional income up to 10 USD per tree per year. Long-term benefits are fruitful because of a tree planted – reduced hunger, malnutrition, and poverty.

Teleperformance is currently aiding more reforestation initiatives elsewhere around the globe. We are supporting One Tree Planted’s project in North America that aims to plant longleaf pine trees to restore the longleaf pine
range.

In the Philippines, we are supporting One Tree Planted on its reforestation efforts within the Ancestral Domain of Indigenous communities in the country’s Aurora province. This tree-planting project is revitalizing the wildlife habitat, as well as conserve and protect species living in the area. The restoration efforts are supporting the Indigenous community’s ability to achieve, maintain, and enhance sustainable livelihood.

Furthermore, we continue to pledge our support to One Tree Planted. We are supporting One Tree Planted on its reforestation efforts of the high Andes Polylepis forests across Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, and Peru. One of the many benefits of the project is the creation and feeding of headwaters of major water sources, including the Amazon rainforest and wetlands.

In Europe, Teleperformance is supporting One Tree Planted in restoring the Leiria Pine Forest in Portugal, which includes planting of maritime pine, cork oaks, and strawberry trees. This project’s benefits include the improvement of the ecosystem’s overall health and integrity and the recovery of biodiversity in the area.
