Teleperformance: Committed to Creating a Better World

02.01.2021

Through its corporate social responsibility initiative, Teleperformance, the global leader in digital integrated business services with 20 years of experience in Mexico, recently supported two non-profit organizations: Save the Children A.C. and Operation Smile Mexico, A.C.

"At Teleperformance, while it is true that growing as a business and a company is of the utmost importance, our focus on people, driven by the use of high-tech, is a reflection of a broader goal: to improve the world around us." – Gustavo García Rendón von Bertrab, SVP Marketing & Public Affairs.

Save the Children in Mexico

Save the Children is the leading independent organization in the promotion and defense of the rights of children and adolescents. It is active in more than 120 countries, attending emergency situations and development programs and helping children have a healthy and safe childhood. Since 1973, it has been working in Mexico through health and nutrition programs, education, protection, and defense of the rights of children and adolescents, within the framework of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

In December 2020, Teleperformance made a donation to the “Programa Integral de Salud y Nutrición para Niñas y Niños Hijas e Hijos de Jornaleros Agrícolas” in the state of Sinaloa, which seeks to ensure access to quality food, health care, education, and protection for the children while their parents work in the fields.

With this donation, Teleperformance will provide 19,344 food rations, the equivalent of four meals a day for 62 children in three care spaces located in the Escuinapa municipality in the town of Isla del Bosque, during January 2021.

Making Healthy Smiles Possible with Operation Smile

Operation Smile is a non-profit organization that provides, in cooperation with other hospitals and institutes, integrated treatment (surgical, dental, phoniatric, nutritional, and psychological) to children, youth, and adults throughout Mexico, who have cleft lip and/or palate (LPH) mainly, or any other facial malformation.

Teleperformance's support will be used to run the continuous surgery program at the Conchita Hospital in Monterrey, where three to four children with cleft lip and/or palate have surgery every two Saturdays by medical volunteers.
