Pandemic lockdowns revealed that many of us don’t need to be co-located with colleagues on-site to do our jobs and, more importantly, that there’s a better way to balance our personal and professional lives. The transition to a work-at-home model further emphasized that workers could do without the long commutes and high costs associated with reporting in a physical office.
