Our Ongoing Commitment to Education to Promote Progress

Clementine Gauthier - 02.10.2023

In a previous blog that celebrated International Day of Education last January 24, we highlighted a few of Teleperformance’s Citizen of the World (COTW) initiatives that promoted education for all.

We continue to reach our goals of making education accessible to everyone. Teleperformance believes that providing education, offering training, and giving opportunities to learn and improve lead to progress. Backed by our employees who constantly dedicate their time to make a positive impact on their communities, we are grateful to continuously help those in need as they strive for a better future.

Here are more global initiatives from Teleperformance that promoted education.

Turkey

In cooperation with the Turkish Education Foundation, we provided technology classes in three schools, benefiting 1,500 students. We offered scholarships to 64 high school students in order for them to complete their education. We also provided online training through the Teleperformance Academy to help the scholars develop their personal and social skills.

Greece
We donated 160 desktop computers to NGOs and elementary and secondary schools in Greece, benefiting more than 2,600 children. We promoted environmental education initiatives at preliminary schools in Attica for more than 227 children and made donations for school supplies to more than 200 children.

Dominican Republic
With the Dominican Republic Ministry of Superior Education, Science, and Technology, we sponsored advanced English classes impacting more than 2,600 youngsters.

We sponsored a marathon from "Fundación Manos Unidas por Autismo" to help increase awareness, inclusion, and educational development of children within the autism spectrum. We partnered with Club Activo 20-30 for a back-to-school drive, collecting donations of school supplies to benefit vulnerable and disadvantaged communities.

Mexico
Teleperformance gave a career guidance workshop in several universities and institutions, inspiring more than 7,400 young people.

Argentina
Teleperformance supports the education of children in vulnerable situations in Argentina through the Futuros Egresados (Future Graduates) initiative. Through sponsorship and volunteer programs, we support a group of teens (13 to 16 years old) until they finish high school and can apply to university.
