Teleperformance is united with the world in observing World Humanitarian Day on August 19.

Since 2006, Teleperformance’s corporate social responsibility initiative Citizen of the World (COTW) has built several partnerships that focused on humanitarian action. Each partnership is strengthened by our common goal of helping vulnerable individuals have a better quality of life, and fortified by our employees’ endless generosity and passion to make the world a better place.

As a response to the crisis in Ukraine, we have partnered with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to help with their humanitarian efforts in the country. ICRC received a donation of 500,000 USD from Teleperformance to aid them in protecting the rights, lives, and dignity of Ukraine’s victims of oppression and armed conflict.

We continue to stand together with Feed the Children, a US-based non-profit organization. Feed the Children has been envisioning a brighter future for vulnerable children with us since 2006.

This 2022, the non-profit organization has joined forces with Teleperformance and HOPE worldwide to further respond to the crisis in Ukraine. In a press release, Dave Malutinok, President and CEO of HOPE worldwide, expressed his thoughts on the recent partnership. "In these unprecedented times, it's more important than ever to inspire greater hope,'' said Malutinok. "We've been working to provide families in Ukraine with food, medicine, and shelter since the crisis began. We're grateful for the great partnerships with Teleperformance and Feed the Children who are helping to change lives."

Through the partnership with Teleperformance and Feed the Children, HOPE worldwide distributed food to key Ukrainian cities and places where refugees have sought shelter. Through HOPE worldwide’s Global Disaster Response team and its affiliates in Moldova, Romania, Poland, Hungary, and Ukraine, hot meals, food vouchers, and food baskets were provided to families throughout July.

The partnership is truly aligned with our impact sourcing initiatives that aim to bring life-changing jobs to people who belong to disadvantaged groups, including refugees. Across several countries in Europe, Teleperformance has already hired refugees from Ukraine, offering them various opportunities for them to have a better quality of life.

As a Force of Good, Teleperformance has contributed humanitarian aid to individuals who need support and care during crucial moments in their lives. COTW continues to offer a spark of hope to those who need it. COTW’s goal is to unite everyone under a worthy, common cause to make a difference, and our employees to join Teleperformance’s significant humanitarian pledge.
